BEIJING, June 29, 2012 / PRNewswire / – On June 19, 2012, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and his delegation left Beijing for an official visit four countries in South America, arriving in the afternoon of June 25 in Santiago, Chile , last stop on his trip. Premier Wen and President Piñera held a series of meetings, including the announcement of a strategic partnership to complete the supplementary agreements to bilateral free trade. Premier Wen and President Piñera agreed to create a framework for cooperation between the two governments and develop a common action plan between the two countries.
During the visit, representatives of the Embassy of China and Commerce Committee Chile , ProChile, Minister of Foreign Affairs and representatives of the main Chilean companies and financial institutions participated in a signing ceremony.
